A correctly measured walking stick enables you to maintain an upright posture with your elbow slightly bent. Body weight is taken through the stick as you push down on it when walking; therefore it is important to have the right height for your walking stick.
To get the right height for your walking stick, you should relax you arm, then measure from the floor to the crease of your wrist. If you require two walking sticks a slightly longer length will help.
The walking stick is easily adjusted by pushing in a button and moving it to the hole that is at the correct height for you.
